Which pc drawing tablet is best?
Question by Doglover: Which pc drawing tablet is best?
I’m tired of drawing with a mouse. I’m looking forward to getting a pc drawing tablet but I really don’t know which to get. My budget is no more then $ 100 on one. Can you tell me some brands that might suit a basic need? It doesn’t have to be fancy, as I just want an alternative to drawing with a mouse. Also, i’ve currently been using Art Rage Pro..is that suitable software for a pad? If not can you suggest one?(that’s NOT photoshop) Please and thank you.

What is the best affordable drawing tablet for pc?
Question by Nadia: What is the best affordable drawing tablet for pc?
I’m hoping to get a drawing tablet soon and i was wondering if you guys could recommend one that works nicely, is not a piece of crap, and doesn’t empty my wallet. I want to spend at most $ 200 on it, but I’m willing to go over that by a bit. Any suggestions? o.o Also, are there any brands that I should be warned about?

Answer by hp_resource
I’d go for a Wacom Bamboo. It’s the best in terms of size/quality in tablets, and it won’t empty your wallet
My mom and I bought one for a high school friend of mine last Christmas, and she flipped out, she was so excited. She likes her Bamboo tablet, and it was only, like, $ 100 bucks… for it’s size, it was a fantastic deal. $ 200 will only get you a VERY TINY tablet of the really high-quality, and Bamboo’s quality is just fine for beginners.

Flat Coloring a Comic Book Page – Axiotron Modbook Apple Tablet PC
computer drawing tablet and make positive changes to entire life? Many people went on the concept and really did it. Most are still dreaming and

www.RayDillon.com http raydillon.blogspot.com This is a page from “Pono Loa” made by Stephen Smirl, drawn by my fiancé, Renae De Liz, and inked, colored, and lettered by me. I’ve done a quick time lapse video, because flatting can be pretty tedious, but I wanted to talk about some of my methods. First of all, I am inking and coloring in Photoshop CS with an Axiotron ModBook (that’s an Apple Tablet PC). Most of the time, I’m using the pen and paint bucket tools, but occasionally, you might see me selecting areas in the inks and they appear to fill instantly. I’m really hitting F1, which is coded to play an pre-recorded action. This is a fantastic time saver. It takes the selection I make, expands it, and fills it. The other vital thing to note is that I am saving my steps in the channels. Once I have the panels filled, I copy all and paste into a new channel. I repeat this with the figures and finally with all the details. That way, if I want to change the lightness or overall color of a figure or an entire panel, I can select it very easily. If you have any questions, let me know. I’ll soon be posting a video of color rendering on one of these pages, too. For more information on “Pono Loa,” a fantastic Hawaiian mythological adventure book, please visit http For more information on Renae De Liz, visit her site at www.goldengoatstudios.com And to see Renae’s drawing videos, please visit www.youtube.com For more information about me, visite my site at www.raydillon.com and …

Article Source: http://www.articlesbase.com/ – What Your Computer Needs for Full Functionality
Modern computers have grown into single product command centers, studded with features that once used to be extension devices. Relatively small and light-weight laptops can include impressive hard disk memory, a webcam optimized for low-light video chatting, an all-in-one card reader or show monitors with solid eye protection, of of which were once pricey extras. Integration in computer hardware is fantastic news for users who no longer have to worry about securing extra space on desks, dealing with tonnes of wires or transporting different pieces of their machine while on travel. Despite stunning advance in this department, most personal computers, desktops and laptops alike, do need accessories and external devices for full functionality. Here is what might be needed to achieve it:
1) High-fidelity loudspeakers. Most computer manufacturers save on the quality of components and sound-related parts are rarely high-end in cheaper machines. Audiophiles are likely to be disappointed even with in-built speakers in more expensive and more advanced models, so if they plot to listen to music from files, they might consider buying an external set of loudspeakers or even a full music system compatible with a digital source of sound.
2) High-end headphones. They never come as part of a PC package, unless in exceptional promotions, but tend to be extremely useful in home and office contexts. Whether it is a new Metallica release or Exorcist the movie, people around you might not really want to participate in the ritual. It is not just a question of distress-free usage, though, it is also a matter of better sound, as ears tend to be very sensitive to sound from headphones.
3) TV and radio tuners. As television and radio are moving to the Internet, the need for hardware that allows you to tune in you your favorite channel or station may be slowly reduced, but it is still quite compelling. Especially that outfitting your PC with this device can translate into a number of features that are honestly hard to achieve cheaply with a TV set – like instant recording, storing or rewinding.
4) Graphic tablets. It is a myth that a graphics tablet can be sensibly used only by artists or graphic designers. Of course, some features have been made with their needs in mind, but even complete beginners who reckon of taking up drawing or sketching might benefit bit time from this smart gadget. Importantly, its brilliant touchsceen and inherent precision can be phenomenally useful for handwriting or online signatures. Kids can have a blast with them too, especially that they tend to be so intuitive.
5) Interface devices. Everyone has their own preferences for building an optimal interface with their computers. Some cannot live without a standard mouse or a mini mouse, others need as much as a touchpad or a touchscreen, those at the forefront of technology experiment with complex laser technologies that track hand movements. Investing in a excellent interface device is critical since it ensures the optimal communication with the machine.

Lenovo Ideapad S10 Review
The design of the IdeaPad S10 is unsurprisingly similar to other netbooks we’ve seen in recent months, but Lenovo has managed to include a few pleasant surprises. The exterior is covered in white “pearl-like” plastics with a slight glossy end. The interior keyboard and palmrest surfaces are covered with matte white plastics with reasonable durability and only a minor bit of flex around the palmrests when you press firmly on those surfaces.

Article Source: http://www.articlesbase.com/ – Top 5 IT forecasts for 2010
As 2009 draws to a close and a new decade dawns, consumers and IT markets predict various new challenges for the next year and also expect something excellent for market conditions. Various analysts predict that IT sector will pull out the global economy from recession.
Here, the feature discusses few predictions for the upcoming year.
Recovery in global economy
It is assumed that the next year will see growth in global IT spending, job creation and hiring. The research firm, IDC forecasted 3.2% growth in IT spending, which will equal the 2008 levels to .5 trillion and emerging markets will have half of the projected growth. RBI and finance ministry has predicted a 7-7.5% growth in GDP for next year.
Social networking grows up
The year 2010 will see a robust growth in social media and its inclusion in various corporate sectors. It will require IT specialists who can engage audiences in their organization’s messages, products and services. Further, it is predicted that companies will more actively encourage employees to use Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
Apple Tablet PC/eReader
People across the world are waiting for the much anticipated Tablet PC from Apple. According to the latest report, Apple will launch its Tablet PC in late January at a venue in San Francisco. It is reported that the device may resemble a large iPod Touch with a 10-inch diagonal screen, lacks a keyboard, packs USB, FireWire ports and runs Mac OS X along with a variety of multimedia goodies. The source says the device’s video quality “is better than the average movie experience.” But, consumers also expect a higher premium from the device, which is supposed to be named as “iSlate.”
Google to expand beyond search
In the recent market share for November, Google remained the dominant leader with 65.6% share, but now, the company has went from its search fort and is trying in various fields like apps, programming language, mobile phones, operating systems, cloud apps, etc.
Now, the search engine is plotting to launch its Google Phone or Nexus One, Android based netbook, Chrome operating system in 2010. With such new launches, the company will target Apple in mobile segment, Microsoft’s monopoly in operating systems and other PC vendors.
Oracle-Sun Microsystems deal
Various market analysts predict that the European regulators will provide their nod for Oracle’s .4 billion acquisition of Sun Microsystems in 2010. For this, Oracle has provided a series of concessions to relieve antitrust concerns. It is reported that Oracle will preserve the viability of MySQL, which is a relational database management system with more than 6 million installations. Also, it will not file any intellectual property claims and extend MySQL’s existing commercial licenses for upto five years.
But, the co-creator of the MySQL database currently owned by Sun Microsystems has started a campaign against the proposed deal because the merger would hit consumers and small businesses and the prices of license and support would increase.
